Through the years various opportunities arose, his brother Roy and he founded and later released Super Web, though they both continues to serve the graphic arts industry. Larry Sr. was Sales Manager for a Sheet-Fed Manufacturer, and served in the Navy; through his career the throughline has been Printer Replacement Parts.
As President and Founder of Parts Connection, Printer Replacement Parts are paramount, but Larry Sr. prioritizes relationships, finding time to volunteer with the Long Island Junior Soccer League,and maintaining his membership to the VFW and American Legion. As some customers who share the love know, Larry Sr. is also a Yankees enthusiast, and beyond his study of every game, article, and season roster, even owns the Yankee edition 2005 Mustang. A veteran in the industry, Parts Connection Vice President Bjorn Ekloff has nearly 30 years specializing in Printing Press Equipment, and a working association and friendship with Larry Peshkin Sr. dating back to the 80′s. More than VP, Bjorn is vital to the Parts Connection tradition of knowledge, skill, and relationships. His comprehension is thorough; in the 80′s he rebuilt and serviced Didde® equipment, and trained others in proper Didde® Press Operation and maintenance.He proceeded to expand his work with Didde® even further, as the Maintenance Manager for an established Commercial Printer, before officially joining Parts Connection in 2001. By 2005 Bjorn was our Vice President, applying his expertise to Quality Control as well as Technical Service.
As the son of Parts Connection President, Larry Peshkin Jr. benefits from a lifetime of familiarity with the business. He brings fresh perspective and diverse achievement; after earning his BA from Loyola College Larry Jr. contributed to academia as an English Professor at Assumption University in Bangkok, Thailand. Returning home to work with his Father, he applied his experiences and developed within the company, beginning as a warehouse clerk. Eventually, after learning the multiple departments of the business working in Purchasing/Expediting, as Graph Expo Coordinator, in Sales, and as Website Manager, Larry Jr. arrived in his niche as Parts Connection’s Marketing and Promotions Manager. Like his Dad, Larry is a multi-faceted individual, finding time to teach Martial Arts to young people, and continuing his education to earn a Master Certificate in Music.
